String Theory #29: Plays Great at Home. Solved the Problem.

Every guitarist knows the feeling.

At home, in your bedroom, everything works. The riffs flow. The scales are clean. The solos land exactly where you want them. No pressure. No eyes on you. Just you, your guitar, and total control.

Then you step on stage… and suddenly none of that matters.

This week’s String Theory cartoon takes that all-too-familiar experience and imagines the most logical solution a guitarist could come up with: don’t fix the nerves – fix the environment.

Instead of trying to conquer stage fright, our guitarist brings his comfort zone with him. The stage is still there. The amps are still loud. The lights are still on. The audience is watching. But right in the middle of it all? A full bedroom setup – bed, lamp, posters, rug – and, of course, the cat sitting calmly on the bed like this was always the plan.

The result? Confidence restored. Problem solved.
