So I’m actually posting here to get someone’s honest opinion before I buy.

I’m just curious to see what are people’s experiences with stringjoy? I saw an ad on instagram and am very tempted to buy because my epiphone SG had a string break yesterday. I like nines and that’d be the gage I’d be buying. So is stringjoy a good option or is there something better that I can get for my guitar and gage preferences?

Hey Jake – I’ve never used StringJoy, but I know @Plexico uses it for getting custom gauge strings and loves it. Since I don’t do a lot of various gauges I use Amazon Subscribe and Save to get my strings and so far it’s been a good experience. Hope that helps! 🤘

I’ve used stringjoy strings quite a bit. They are great. Custom sets no problem. They last long for me and hold their tone well. I use different tunings a lot and I will email them and let them know scale length and pitches desired and they will setup a string set for its. They also have a tension calculator on their website.

Fast free shipping by usps priority mail (I think you have to buy a couple sets to get free shipping).

    I recommend them

For Sure… Try them out and I hope you like them as much as I do. I also have other kinds of strings, I was gifted a bunch of D’addario sets also most of those are heavier strings and flatwounds and some mandolin strings. I have many guitars and I am glad I don’t have to change them all at the same time.

I’ve been using StringJoy on my acoustic guitars for several years. I really like them. Very smooth and even sounding. I haven’t really tried their electric strings enough to have an opinion. I like EB Titanium 9’s for most of my guitars. Haven’t experienced any string breakage with them in many years.

As far as StringJoy the company, they seem like a good bunch. Great support. The last time I checked they were the Nashville area.
