Signal Chain for FX
I’m starting to set up my “non fractal” pedalboard. So far it’s:
Ditto Looper -> Wampler Tape Echo -> Mesa Boogie V-Twin -> EC Cathedral -> Amp
Does that sound like an ok signal chain? Is reverb normally at the end? 🤔

I’ve had the Fractal XL2 for several years, and I always seem to go back to pedals. Fractal is powerful, but seems overly complex. Dialing in the sound I want seems to take too much energy. 🤷🏻♂️

I have a Fractal AX8 and I love it – it’s great for gigging cause it’s just plug and play and I bring an FRFR Atomic CLR as my speaker. Light and quick set up. But for home playing I want to play through an amp with pedals, so I’m getting this setup. I’m also looking for a more “bluesy” and responsive sound and amps do a better job there IMHO. Just hope I’m getting the signal chain right! 🤷♂️
