MultiFX/Modeler recommendations
I’ve been thinking about getting a multi-fx or modeler unit. It may be easier than chaining a few boxes together. I’m looking at the Line 6 HX and a ToneX modeler. IK Multimedia TONEX Pedal Amplifier/Cabinet/Pedal Modeler | Sweetwater
I hope I don’t need to spend 400-700 to get a good one. Any recommendations?

I haven’t tried the Tonex, I’ve only ever bought the iPad clips from IKMultimedia, so not sure of how it compares, but there’s a *lot* of competition out there. The demo looks great though! Here are some others to consider:
1) Fractal (https://www.fractalaudio.com/) I have the AX8 and love it. The only downside is that you pretty much need a computer to edit any of the settings. Doing it from the unit is overly complicated.
2) Line6 (https://line6.com/) like you’ve listed. I hear great things about it!
3) Atomic AmpliFire (https://atomicamps.com/portfolio-item/ampli-firebox-mkii/). I’ve seen some great demos of this, but never seen it “live”.
4) Positive Grid (https://www.positivegrid.com/). I tried their app when it came out and it was pretty good. And that was a while ago!
