From the clips I’ve seen of him, it’s hard to deny that he’s an amazing player. He’s also received quite a bit of praise from some heavy duty players like Vai, Bonamassa, etc. So yeah – I dig his playing and he’ll be the new generation of axe slingers! 🤘🤘

I beg to differ. I can’t detect any emotion or originality in his playing, but that’s just me. Then again he is very young. I have the same problem with Tommy Emmanuel. Lot’s of technical skills, but no emotion. And he is 68. 🤔

Have you ever seen Tommy live? He really gets into it.

I do understand what you’re saying, some players appear very dry and emotionally disconnected. But that can be just how it appears. Genius can present itself a bit different sometimes.

I get it, but I can’t connect with Tommy E. But he did an interesting interview with Rick Beato. I’ll put it up. 😎✌🏽

Be real you have to appreciate the effort and talent to do this kind of playing

I understand. Sometimes you just can’t connect. I had the privilege of seeing Tommy live a few years ago at NAMM in Nashville. He wasn’t on the list of players that night, but made a surprise appearance. It was a great show.
