Lettieri is an amazing player (as are the others, but I’m more familiar with Mark). These newer players come a little more from the John Mayer style – which is a move away from the likes of Satriani, Van, Gilbert – they don’t do a lot of tapping or generally play with an overly distorted sound. Great crop of players, just different from the “guitar gods” of latter day (IMHO)!
With that being said, there’s also a lot of newer metal players such as Guthrie Govan, Tosin Abasi, Nuno Bettencourt, etc. 🤘
