Hey sorry it’s been a minute before replying to this but my neighbor happens to be an engineer. Although it’s nothing in the aspect of guitars but an intelligent, thinks outside the box, kinda person and has always been known to keep a plethora of useless knowledge. Any way he told me to try getting the string to wrap around the peg first… Read more

If you think they wouldn’t mind me sending them an S.O.S message then I’ll reach out to them. Just as I was tuning my strings from phase 2 to phase 3 today another 1st string broke. Those are the only two I’m have issues with and the costs of strings is currently killing me with this guitar. Makes me almost not wanting to play it for just that reason.

How familiar are you with the evertune bridge system? This is my first and surely not my last if I can get to better understand it. Certainly a prize unit when it comes to day to day recording.

I have and that is the only resolve I’ve come to see that works. So I guess the question now is not using the locking tuners would it keep the bridge from working like it’s supposed to? I guess we shall see!

.010, .013, .017, .030, .042, .052 D’Addario. Standard D tuning and the first and third strings are the only two to break and the third being the most. I’ll send a pic of the tuners once I get home. The guitar itself is made really well and solid. Perhaps the most solid made guitar I’ve ever owned.

Real quick before I get asked to do something by my wife. I’m experiencing a lot of string breakage on my solar guitar with evertune bridge. My strings keep breaking at the tuning peg. I’ve ready taken a guitar string and ran it through to grind down any sharp edges to prevent string breakage but that didnt stop it. Anyone have any suggestions?
